Fry the Opposition!
Welcome to Fry!
Our House – The Current House Champions
Last year Fry became champions and won the House Cup! We are a house that participates in every single interhouse event where participation is the key to success. Friendly Fry House members are always looking out for one another.
We are also the only house that has two mascots – the fox and the frying pan. Fabio Fox was designed and created by a former Fry student, and Fabio can always be seen supporting Fry at interhouse events. Our frying pan also makes it to events and is there ready to ‘fry the opposition’.
Elizabeth Fry
Fry House is named after the inspirational Elizabeth Fry (1780 – 1845) who made history as an English prison and social reformer. She was often referred to as the ‘angel of prisons’. Elizabeth Fry was also depicted on the old Bank of England £5 note.
Our Chosen Charity
| Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Trust, is a specialist hospital. Thanks to donations, they are a free service. Using the best veterinary care available, they are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating all species of British wildlife. Since opening their doors over 300,000 patients have received treatment at Tiggywinkles. On their busiest day they can have over 1,600 patients on site! |
