There is a wide variety of co-curricular activities at Walderslade Girls’ School. We expect all students to involve themselves in at least one co-curricular activity each term. Some take place at lunchtime and some after school to extend the student’s learning well beyond the classroom. There are many regular activities and others change term by term.
There are many opportunities for sporting and outdoor adventurous activities to take place, including kayaking, sailing, high ropes and archery on day experiences as well as residential trips further afield.
Competitive teams are organised in many different sports. Walderslade enters teams in all the Medway Secondary School Competitions, the Medway Netball League and often we have representatives at Kent County level in sport.
Aside form sport, day trip visits include trips to historic sites, museums, art galleries and theatre outings to complement the students’ courses.
