Curriculum Statement
Our underlying drive is to provide opportunities for pupils to explore their understanding of scientific concepts, laws and procedures. Science should be experienced in a practical way to develop problem solving through evaluating the scientific method. Everyday life is enshrouded by the contributions and innovations science and technology have afforded alongside the deeper considerations of social, economic, ethical and cultural issues. Community is at the heart of the development of thinking and working scientifically and a range of classroom delivery should be made available for students to take responsibility for their learning and work towards independence.
