Schemes of Work, Lesson Plans, Assessment & Visual Resources
Following the release of the curriculum in 2014, and a request from partner schools the GSP Team developed the schemes of work and visual resources to reflect the aims of the new curriculum in PE to ensure al pupils –
- develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities
- are physically active for sustained periods of time
- engage in competitive sports and activities
- lead healthy, active lives
There are two sets of packs that have been purchased by partners across the UK, that are designed as a “basis” for teachers and non-specialists to have a clear plan for each lesson as well as for more confident teachers to use as a starting point and develop their lessons.
The packs can be used and purchased separately or individually by year group and physical activity to support teachers throughout a school. The Schemes of Work can be purchased without the Visual resources if schools or teachers have ideas for sessions for all the physical activities included.
- Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans – pulls together the key requirements that a PE lesson needs to achieve.
- Visual Resources – with six weeks of activities per physical activity linked to the Schemes of Work.
An electronic version of the files can be provided with any purchase of the corresponding packs ordered (not sold separately).
The GSP Team have set up an Assessment Tracker that can be used to help demonstrate the development of students, this can be included with any purchase but other Trackers can be used.
Package
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Schemes of Work for all year groups is offered at – £1000.00 (does not include the Visual Resources)
