- One hour session a week per term for 15 to 20 pupils.
- Sessions can be held at your school or at Greenacre School.
- The Outdoor Learning & Bushcraft programme has a structured approach with sessions being planned and progressive.
- Provision promotes pupil’s development in practical skills and learning linked to cross curriculum lessons.
- Pupils will be taught skills such as, knot tying, shelter building, use of basic hand tools, fire management, Flora & Fauna identification, orienteering, team work and WIDE outdoor team games to boost physical activity levels.
- The class and individual pupils will be assessed on their progression of skills and data will be evidenced in order to track their development.
- School Vision and objectives will be developed and provided for your school.
- Schools MUST provide a member of staff to assist the Forest School sessions.
